Is this a romantic way to ask her to be my girlfriend?

First... I'll bring her to the world fireworks display... we'll picnic out with wine and my homemade pasta..





then, eat at a fancy romantic french resto.. probably just for dessert... fondue maybe...





i'll bring her home, and give her my letter, then i'll go home. at the end of the letter... i'll tell her to go outside.. i'll be there waiting with a bouquet of flowers and flash cards asking her to be my girlfriend..





in short, thats how i'll do it..

OMFG!!!! DO IT!! That's AMAZINGLY sweet!!! MY boyfriend just said...hey....wanna be my girlfriend??? lol it was nice...but THAT is phenomenal!! Make sure she's worth it and DON'T let that fade. pasta and dessert. As for the flashcards I would try and memorize what your going to say to this girl that your interested in so when you see her she will know when you ask her to be your girl friend that your speaking from your heart and it will be more memorable. You sound like a very romantic

It totally depends on the type of girl she is. If she's the extravagant romantic type, then that's perfect. But if she's the practical type, it might not go over so well. If she's already in love with you it will be great. If she's not, she might wonder why you had to go to all that work to ask her to be your girlfriend.
its romantic but a bit over the top to be honest. You dont want to put her off so just keep it short and simple. Go to he firework display, eat dinner together, and then when you are walking her home ask her. This way she has to give you a straight answer. Forget about the flowers and the flash cards. It will put her off. But you sound like a really sweet guy, so good luck x

too much. i consider myself romantic, but the whole letters/flashcards etc would be waaay too much for me. not to put you off, but what if she doesn't want to date you? you'll be making her especially uncomfortable and bad for turning you down by doing that. just ask during the fireworks display. i'd say that's plenty romantic :)
Sounds more like a marriage proposal. Does she really need all that romantic BS. Are you serious together. Just ask her. What if she doesn't read the letter right away. You will be standing out in the cold. Be true to yourself and her. Don't get caught up in all the Hallmark stuff.
It seems really romantic, but perhaps just a little to much why not take her out and do the fireworks thing and then dessert and ask her there? saying that i think any girl would appreciate all the effort! good luck with whatever you decide to do.
wow. this is a lot to do to ask her to be your girlfriend - are you sure it's not too much? does she like that kind of stuff? i'd find that out asap otherwise it's going to make her think you're WAY too much of a pansy.
