What main dish goes good with crab rangoon?

I'm trying to plan a romantic dinner with my girlfriend, but i have absolutely no clue how to cook. I found recipes for crab rangoon, and it doesn'tt seem too difficult so I'm going to start with that. But what other foods that aren't really complicated to make would go good with rangoon? Any answers would be more than helpful to a shmuck who's trying to be a romantic. Thanks to any who respondWhat main dish goes good with crab rangoon?
Give this a try, it is Garlic Shrimp noodles. It is a Chinese dish and super tasty and shouldn't be that difficult to make. This is a serving of 4 so you can easily scale back the amounts to make it a dinner for two.

Fried Noodle with Garlic Shrimp

1/2 lb shelled shrimp, deveined. Marinated in:

1/2 tsp kosher salt (1/4 tsp table salt)

2 tsp cornstarch

1 tsp cooking wine

1 tsp sesame oil

3 scallions, cut into 2鈥?pieces

2 tsp minced garlic

1/2 cup thin celery sticks

1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots

1 1/2 tbl soy sauce

1 1/2 tbl Chinese black vinegar

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp kosher salt

1/2 lb dried noodle or 1 lb fresh cooked noodles

Marinate shrimp in a small bowl. Boil enough water to cook noodles. Follow instructions on package of noodles for cooking time.

Heat 1 tsp cooking oil (canola, veg, peanut) in a wok or large pan on high heat. When oil hot but not smoking, add shrimp. Fry until color of shrimp changes. Remove and set aside. Add a touch more oil to wok and when oil is hot, add scallions and garlic. Fry 15 seconds. Add carrots. Stir well, fry 30 seconds.. Add celery and fry vegetable mixture until carrots are slightly softened. Celery should still have a nice crunch. Add soy, vinegar, sugar and salt. Stir well. Add shrimp back into wok. Cook until shrimp is cooked through, about 30 seconds (depends on size of your shrimp).

Add noodles, mix well and when noodles are heated through, it鈥檚 ready. Taste. If needs more seasoning, add a touch more soy and black vinegar. What main dish goes good with crab rangoon?
First of all, I LOVE crab rangoons. I think they go well with a sweet/spicy dish--I usually order them with sweet and sour chicken, or some kind of sweet thai chicken dish. The combination of the cream cheese with the sweet/savory chicken dish is perfect.

Here is a recipe that would go well--this is meant for a slow cooker, but you could make it on the stove top as well, very easily:

SWEET CHICKEN CURRY:

Ingredients:

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 large green or red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 large onion, sliced

1 large tomato, seeded and chopped

1/2 cup prepared mango chutney (if you cant find this, peach preserves or marmalade will work)

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1-1/2 teaspoons curry powder

Hot cooked rice

Preparation:

1.Place chicken, bell pepper and onion in slow cooker. Top with tomato.

2.Mix chutney, water, cornstarch and curry powder in small bowl. Pour over chicken.

3.Cover; cook on LOW 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 hours or until chicken is tender. Serve over rice.
Classic Thai Vegetables

Ingredients

1 tablespoon oriental sesame oil

2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger

1 large garlic clove, minced

1 red bell pepper, cut lengthwise into thin strips

6 ounces shiitake mushrooms, stemmed, thinly sliced

3 large green onions, thinly sliced on sharp diagonal

3 cups thinly sliced bok choy (from 1 bunch; green leaf tops only)

Method

Heat oil in heavy large skillet over high heat. Add ginger and garlic; saut茅 20 seconds. Add bell pepper and mushrooms; saut茅 until pepper is crisp-tender, about 3 minutes. Add green onions and bok choy and saut茅 until just wilted, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
At most Grocery stores you can find,in the freezer dept., bagged Asian entrees that only require stir frying, some have meat included others are ';just add meat'; type...They are very good and easy to make...

Or....Bake a whole chicken in the oven, baste it with melted butter %26amp; seasonings you like...

350* for 1 hour or until tested done...

Then add any type of veggies you like as well...ex;;;corn on the cob, green beans,asparagus,etc....follow package instructions.

=)
